So fled the royal noldor, from the depths of the forest of night
followed by a blazing fury, and the dark elfs wrathful might
in secrecy he stayed behind the two, watching closely each and every move
driven by anger and hate towards the sun, such things he set in motion that could not be undone

Now free am i, from the forest where shadows lie
by my own will i entered, long it took for me to leave
now a dark cloud is behind us, my fears grow deeper still
come now my son of twilight, your father is following us

It is my law that none who finds the way hither shall depart
