Grimslath At the Gates of Thangorodrim is one of my favourite Avathar songs so I've been waiting for the re-release of From the Other Side since the announcement that the classic demos would be made available again.
This demo is fantastic, continuing Avathar's tradition of epic, symphonic black metal, which at this point is mildly reminiscent of the mighty Bal-Sagoth. It makes you wonder, once again, how this band didn't get picked up by a major label. Favorite track: At The Gates Of Thangorodrim.
